Everything's Finer With An Aliner!
Brought my new Aliner Scout lite home the other day.
I was so excited that I could sleep the night before.... worrying that the money wouldn't come through to my account. Worrying that I wouldn't be able to tow it.... nonspecific worrying. Excitement.
I can tow her just fine!!! The Jeep has a strong heart, the trailer trails along and everything runs smoothly. I drove her down to Mom and Dad's and then down to Gilroy and then home the back way over that twisty, turny mountain road. Ok, maybe not MOUNTAIN.
I picked the Scout Lite because I can envision camping with a friend that I don't necessarily want to sleep with... yep, let's get this camping thing going!
I went to Stormin Normans because I knew they had the package I wanted. Karen was the first salesperson who walked me around and showed me the models. She spent a lot of time with me. When I called her back, I talked with Jimmy who really knew his figures out the door. He was lightening fast, told me I needed a brake converter for those Rockies we intend to scale!
They included a seven prong wiring harness for the Jeep and installed it while I waited. I guess you need more leads if you are going to charge the battery while driving and run the brake converter.
I hadn't bought anything for the trailer, because I am superstitious about buying things before deals are finalized. I went online and bought some camping lights. I took myself to Savers and bought some bedding and towels and ... plastic ware.
Last minute things..... picking up prescriptions and registering the Jeep. Now I am getting ready to go see Mom and Dad.
